By Baptism We are Called and Gifted

As Christians we are both called and gifted through our baptism. We use our gifts by word and action in the Church and in the world, celebrating Christ's presence and striving to further the reign of God. As Christians we are called to holiness, community, and service. This vocational call can be lived out in various lifestyles: marriage, single life, priesthood or religious life (sister, brother, or priest).

Who has God created you to be?

What are your gifts, talents, passions?

Where will you leave your legacy?

God makes it possible for everyone to experience genuine fulfillment, real meaning and lasting joy. These gifts are meant to be found in one’s vocation --the unique way designed by God that one is meant to live and celebrate one’s gift of life.

Discovering your vocation starts with knowing more about yourself, more about God, and more about the world around you.

Your vocation may not be clear right now – don’t fret! It’s there for you to find, and find it you will. With self-reflection, daily prayer, regular participation at Mass and the help of others, you can sift through the collection of competing voices and come to hear God’s call that is spoken personally to you. First, seek God’s call and everything else will fall into place quite nicely.
