Message from the Development Director
Come, join us in our mission to share God’s compassionate love near and far. Serving the Green Bay Diocese since 1868, we are serving in hospitals, parishes, schools and nursing homes. We are providing catechetical formation for our Hispanic brothers and sisters. We are teaching English to those whose first language is Spanish or Hmong. We are joining others in meeting the needs of the homeless and disadvantaged and in speaking up for Catholic values and local justice issues. We are providing health care and catechetical programs in Nicaragua. We are caring for our sick and retired members.
Yes, we do have active Sisters who are earners. However, those earnings do not meet all the needs of our retired members, of our Sisters who are not compensated for their service to the poor, or of the debt remaining on our Motherhouse. We depend on God and on people like you!
Together we can teach and heal. Together we can help and advocate for the poor and homeless. Together we can speak up for peace in our world, for respect for each human life, and for care of our Earth.

The Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross are a not-for profit 501c(3) corporation. Our corporate title for legal documents is SISTERS OF ST. FRANCIS OF THE HOLY CROSS. Fund raising for our Community operates according to the guidelines of the National Catholic Development Conference. For your tax purposes note that we are recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization. Any donations made to us are tax deductible.
